The DTX700 series kits feature DTX-PADs and the DTX700 trigger module, with over twelve hundred outstanding drum and percussion voices.

In addition to the 1,268 drum and percussion sounds and 128 instrument voices, you can add new sounds to the DTX700 by simply loading them into the included 64MB Flash-ROM. By incorporating the DTX-PADs (the most advanced drum pads ever made) for the snare and toms you develop real drum playing technique the more you play the drums. And you'll be playing day and night with the on-board practice songs that let you mute the drums and play along; you can even record yourself for further study.

NEWS 2017: New Sounds - 60 Free Drum Kits

At the beginning of the year we have a special gift for all owners of a DTX700 set - and for those who would like to become one. Yamaha E-Drum specialists Simon Edgoose and Ralf Mersch have programmed 60 new Drum Kits for the DTX700 module.

Special care was taken to make a great selection of modern Drum Kits. But the best thing for you is: You can download the Drum Kits for free.

IMPORTANT NOTE
If you have programmed your own Kits, please save them on a USB stick before loading the new Drum Kits into your DTX700. This is done as follows:

MENU - FILE - SAVE - ALL - "Enter a name" - EXECUTE - CONFIRM
Or use the free App "DTX700Touch", with the App you can also save your Kits directly to your Dropbox.

LOADING THE KITS
Once you have downloaded the compressed file "DTX700_2017.zip", please un-zip it and copy the complete unpacked Yamaha folder to a USB flash drive.

Important: The DTX700 needs exactly this folder
structure!

Now load the Kits into your DTX700. Connect the USB stick to the DTX700 Module and press: MENU - FILE - LOAD - ALL - "700_17.T7A" - EXECUTE - CONFIRM

If you are using the same USB stick on which you have already saved your Kits, the correct folder structure has already been created there. In this case you can simply copy the file "700_17.T7A" from the new "ALL" folder into the "ALL" folder on your stick. Please do not overwrite your existing folders!
