Unter gängigen, vergleichbaren Schlagzeugfellen (einschichtig, 10mil dick, weiss beschichtet) gibt es, abgesehen vom Preis, bezüglich des Klanges m.E. kaum deutliche Unterschiede, aber die Aquarian-Felle haben eine  erstaunlich gute weisse/aufgerauhte Beschichtung, die im Gegensatz zu Fellen von anderen Herstellern viel länger hält. Diese Eigenschaft ist bei der Verwendung als bass drum-Schlagfell zwar nicht so wichtig,, dafür umso mehr auf der snare drum für das Bespielen mit Besen.
