I had been waiting for the K2 for a long time, as I already had the Korg MS 20 in software, so it wasn't a priority purchase. What changed things was the MK II... with its sync, PWM, and crossmod capabilities... these features allowed me to create new sounds that I simply had to have at that bargain price. And I also had an empty slot in my 3-tier rack that I wanted to fill. If the Proton arrives, it will be full with Neutrons. With the K2, which is essentially the same as the MS 20, you can't go wrong. This synth is known for its powerful bass sounds and leads, as well as its flexibility in sound design, which surpasses that of many other synths. I highly recommend it.
