Good gear

Don't be fooled by the name 'Blues driver'!
It can deliver much more than just a blues sounds. Actually, it is a very useful stompbox for a wide range of styles - blues, blues-rock, rock and classic metal.
Technically it is not a classic overdrive or distortion with clipping diodes inside - it is a kind of fuzz. There is no op-amps inside! 
I would recommend it for all levels of guitarists, harmonica players and people who want to add some power to synths.
It works perfectly alone or together with other overdrives (just place it after Screamer or another BD and you will hear tons of saturation).
BD-2 is a very uncommon pedal and one of the best Boss products ever made.

Blues and beyond!

Der BD wertet jedes OD- Pedal auf, klingt aber auch 'stand alone' als Rockmaschine. Aber zusammen mit einem anderen drive-Pedal geht die Sonne auf!
Z.b. ein EHX Spruce goose oder hot wax vorgeschaltet macht aus jedem Amp einen Mehr-Kanaler. BOSS-Qualität wie immer. Rough and Ready!

Wunderkind

The Bluesdriver is excellent for pop, rock, and other styles. It's perfect for achieving light to medium distortion sounds. I had been searching for something like this for a long time, and I've tried several others.

Pleasant and engaging sound

Der Bluesdriver ist sehr gut für Pop, Rock und andere Stile geeignet. Für leichte bis mittlere Zerrsounds genau das Richtige. Habe lange gesucht, manches ausprobiert.

Angenehmer und ansprechender Sound

Klingt, wie angekündigt, bluesiger, also etwas voller und weicher als der gelbe Overdrive. kann auch volle Akkorde verschönern. 

Ein feiner Overdrive

Einmal mehr ein super Pedal von Boss. 
Verwende es mit einer Gibson Les Paul und einem Marshall DSL 20.  
Marshall leicht angezerrt auf dem Crunch Channel. 
Den Boss Blues Driver Gain auf 10 Uhr und Level 
bei 12.
Optimale Mitten. Marshall wird optimal unterstützt
durch den BD. Sound vom Marshall kommt perfekt rüber.

BEST SOUND

Blues driver. Mais pas pour du blues. 
Je la considère comme un Tube Screamer raté. Trop de médium. Très vite criarde. Le résultat avec uns Telecaster est vraiment mauvais.
En la mettant avec un fuzz le résultat est décevant.
Boss bombarde de version waza des pedales qui avaient fait leur preuves. La version waza est très chère et je doute que ça vaille un investissement pareil. 
Elle est ratée.

Déçu

Ich nutze den Blues Driver vor dem cleanen (edge of breakup) Kanal meines Engl Rockmaster. Drive und Tone habe ich auf 12 Uhr. Dieser Sound ist sowohl bissig als auch warm und rund. Der Sound ist eine echte Bluesrock-Alternative zu dem Gain-Kanal meines Amps. Wenn man Drive auf Maximum stellt, dann geht der Sound in Richtung Fuzz. Man kann den Blues Driver aber auch als Booster verwenden. Hierzu stellt man Drive auf Minimum.

bissiger und warmer Sound

Sehr vielseitiges Pedal - von Crunch bis zu fettem Overdrive, auch als reiner Boost zu gebrauchen. Finde genial, wie fein das Pedal auf das Volume der Gitarre reagiert!

Sehr vielseitiger Boss Klassiker

Cet overdrive est très bien. L'édition Waza est trop chère. Je l'avais acheté pour un overdrive différent du Tube Screamer.
Si vous avez un Tube Screamer, passez votre chemin. Par contre il faut reconnaître que cette pédale est plus agressive et fait une nette différence avec le TS. Elle devient très criarde
Elle est très solide. Elle va très bien avec une strat, le résultat sur une LP ou SG est moins concluant. La TS n'est pas un grand classique pour rien.

Bon overdrive

The BD pedal processes each OD pedal, but it also functions effectively as a standalone rock machine. However, when used in combination with another drive pedal, the results are truly impressive! For example, using an EHX Spruce Goose or Hot Wax pedal in front of your amp turns it into a multi-channel amplifier. As always, BOSS delivers high-quality, reliable performance.

The standard!

Wie immer bei Boss ist das Pedal perfekt hergestellt! Die erste Soundebene klingt wie gewohnt von Blues bis Rock liefert es alles sehr authentisch. Die 2. Soundebene klingt moderner mit fetteren Tiefmitten, von Rock bis Hardrock bis Metal der 90er Jahre. 
Mich hat der Wazakraft Blues Driver vollkommen überzeugt.

Tolles Pedal zu einem wirklich interessanten Preis. Das Spektrum der Zerrsounds ist sehr variantenreich. Passt für bluesige Sounds bis zu einem ordentlichen 'Rock-Brett'.

Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.

Blues Driver

Der Blues Driver macht genau das, was ich erwartet habe. Der Sound ist einfach cool und hat eine sympathische Wärme. Sowohl meine Les Paul als auch die halbakustische Ibanez Artcore. tönen wunderbar bluesig, ohne ihren Charakter zu verlieren. Natürlich kann ich es mit der Ibanez nicht zu sehr krachen lassen. Das ist aber mit dem hohlen Body nur normal. Die Bedienung des BD-2 ist absolut simpel und das Teil ist äusserst stabil gebaut. Hält wahrscheinlich ewig, auch wenn ich laufend drauf rumtrete.

Molto metallico e fenderiano. Suono che volevo, si combina bene col tube screemer.

Solide, overdrive de qualité. Le son de la Waza est nettement plus ouvert que la BD-2 standard.

Parfait

Macht dem 'alten' Blues Driver von Boss alle Ehre. Der neu Custom-Mode lässt den Sound meiner Meinung nach etwas moderner klingen. Benutze es entweder um beim cleanen Amp ein bisschen Top-End-Verzerrung zu erhalten oder als Solo-Boost beim verzerrten Amp. 
Ist also nicht nur für Röhrenamps super geeignet, sondern harmoniert auch sehr gut mit dem cleanen Sound meines Roland JC-40 (Transistor-Amp) 

Tolles Waza-Remake

Preis-Leistung ist der Hammer :)

Genau was ich gesucht habe um meinem THR10C etwas mehr overdrive einzuhauchen. Das Mehrgeld für die Waza Version ist meines Erachtens nicht gerechtfertigt. 

Spitzen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

une incroyable différence de degré de distortion entre les réglages minimum et maximum ! Avec un son unique qu'aucue autre pédale Boss n'approche...
ajouter à cela le réglage tone. Mention spéciale: si avec un gain élevé-à mon goùt-vous réglez le tone de la GUITARE au minimum, low, 'ètouffé à la jazz,  avec le micro neck -près du manche- vous allez entrer dans un nouveau monde sonore  pour leLEAD, en rythm c'est pas bon ( quoique pour les riffs...).

peut-être à coupler avec une Ibanez TS808DX pour du boost dans le son 'clean'... les experts sauront mieux !

Boss for blues

Bon produit, l'effet est assez réussi, mais à tendance à partir en vrille lorsqu'on le combine à d'autres effets.

Plutôt sympa

...da der Mesa Boogi  eine gewisse Lautstärke benötigt, wird es trotz 15 Watt ziemlich laut zum Üben und mit dem Wasa Craft mit Compression/Sustainer vorgeschaltet lässt sich die Lautstärke sehr gut über das Volumenpedal steuern und klingen tut es auch noch SEHR gut...

Sehr differenziert angezerrter bluesiger Sound. Die Mischung aus Sustain und Overdrive gibt dem Boss-Pedal eine ganz spezielle Note. Mit dem Plektrum angespielte Soli klingen richtig bluesig. Die regelbare Verzerrung lässt auch Riffs ohne verschwommenen Charakter angenehm und doch mit dem nötigen Crunch ertönen. Setze den Blues Driver als Erweiterung mit dem Super OverDrive SD-1W ein (in Serie und einzeln). Zusammen mit dem BluesCube Artist 212 deckt diese Kombination ein breites tonales Spektrum von Rock bis Blues ab. 

Macht seinem Namen bezüglich Klang alle Ehre

Habe mir den Sound anders vorgestellt. Muss Effektgeräte undbedingt im Laden ausprobieren

Es gibt ein besser Blues Sound mit Ibanez Tube Screamer

Limitiert Blues

Für leicht angezerrte Sounds eine wahre Freude. Und im Custom Mode ein echt fetter Sound.  Kann auch gut als Clean Boost verwendet werden. Überträgt bei einem Rohrenamp die Dynamik sehr schön.

Nicht nur für Blues

Je cherchais une overdrive après que ma dernière s'en soit aller, et, cherchant un peut sur les forums et discutant avec quelque amis guitaristes et j'en suis venu à cette pédale.
Je suis donc aller l'essayer en magasin et je fut juste conquis par ce son ! 
En jouant avec le potard de gain on arrive a avoir une très large palette de son, tous aussi bon !
Pour finir petit résumer 

Les plus :
-Le son juste excellent 
-Le prix très très raisonnable 
-Facilité d'utilisation (on trouve très vite le son qu'on cherche )

Les moins bah pas encore trouver ^^

Buon overdrive, a mio parere migliore del Tube Screamer in termini di possibilità sonora. Necessita di un'accurata regolazione. Certamente non può rivaleggiare con gli apparecchi boutique ma costa sensibilmente meno. Molto buona la qualità costruttiva
