Featuring a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the Redondo Classic has a rich, commanding voice that fills any room. Designed for performing, it also includes a premium Fender- and Fishman®-designed preamp system voiced specifically for the Redondo’s body shape, allowing you to reproduce the guitar’s natural sound when plugged into an amplifier. The mahogany neck features a comfortable, slim-taper "C"-shaped profile, inspired by Fender’s electric legacy.
The Redondo Classic’s no-compromise attitude extends to its build quality, featuring quartersawn scalloped X bracing for superior resonance, an upgraded bone nut and saddle, and a tilt-back headstock for enhanced sustain. Sleek maple binding, matching maple rosette, and a 6-in-line headstock punch up the Redondo’s quintessential Fender vibe. Dynamic, distinctive, and versatile, the Redondo Classic is sure to inspire.
UNIQUE FENDER BODY SHAPE
This guitar's unique body shape is a Fender exclusive which was first introduced in 1968 and offers a vintage-inspired look with modern tonal characteristics
TILT-BACK 6-IN-LINE HEADSTOCK
A tilt-back headstock increases the break angle over the nut, allowing for enhanced sustain. The Strat-style 6-in-line design imparts Fender’s rock-and-roll attitude into this acoustic-electric instrument.
SLIM-TAPER “C”-SHAPED MAHOGANY NECK
The supremely comfortable slim-taper "C"-shaped mahogany neck will feel familiar to electric players and is also suited to acoustic players looking for a slimmer neck.
ALL-SOLID CONSTRUCTION
Prized for increased resonance and sustain, the California Classic acoustics are built with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides to achieve a tone that's powerful and balanced.
FENDER AND FISHMAN-DESIGNED PREAMP SYSTEM
Complete with tuner, frequency (bass, middle and treble) and phase controls, this system is specially voiced for each body shape in the California Series.
