As soon as you pick it up, you'll think, "What on earth is this thing?" Then, when you start playing it, a smile appears on your face! The acoustic sound, like all acoustic basses, is quite weak, just enough to accompany an acoustic guitar, if not played very loudly. However, the sound is definitely surprising, full and warm, with deep bass. If you then connect it to an amplifier, you'll be impressed; the sound is powerful and superior to many electric basses costing thousands of francs. You'll need to get used to those strange, very large, and rubbery strings. I've put it in the living room, and I can't get past it without strumming it for a few minutes...
