The Shorty bass offers 76cm (30") scale length (the same as the Violin and Club basses) combined with such small overall dimensions that it can be taken anywhere. It will fit in the overhead locker of most aircraft for example. It is also perfect for noodling, when lounging on your couch, with the Shorty bass. Available in black also (BK)

I received this Hofner 500/1, which was originally made in Asia. It's a beautiful bass guitar, very well-finished and with the iconic look that collectors love. Sound quality: As soon as you change the strings to Hofner flat-wound strings, you'll get a classic, 5-star vintage sound. However, don't expect to use it for slap bass.
