I am a "born again" beginner. I used to play the guitar in my teens but stopped when real life and work took over my days and nights. I was surprised to find that I still have a good ear for music and find that many cheap guitars lack the depth that I was used to hearing. The Höfner is great value for money. While not the cheapest guitar, it gives great value for money. The sound is rich and deep, equivalent to guitars twice its price. I am very happy with my purchase.
