Hohner is a German musical instrument company founded in 1857 by Mathias Hohner. It is particularly known for its harmonicas, which were originally the only instruments produced.

Since then, Hohner also produces guitars, flutes, accordions, keyboards and drums.

Most common model from the Richter series. Available in all major keys. Brilliant and powerful sound. Wooden body with screwed-on brass tuning plates. The reed material consists of a special brass alloy. Hohner Blues Harp, the best-selling blues harmonica, an absolute bestseller. Stainless steel lid, wooden comb body and brass reed plates combined in the tried and tested "sandwich construction" produce a warm and powerful sound.

The Hohner Blues Harp is a classic for a reason. It's signature woody tone exemplifies the Blues genre and begs you to express that place in your heart that is downtrodden, filled with darkness and begs to be free from the shackles that bind you. These harps don't play themselves and insist you wrap your soul around them and cry yourself toward musical redemption.

The classic harmonica. If you're looking for a slightly fuller sound, you should definitely try the Seydel model.

This is the perfect tool for me as a beginner.
The delivery arrived quickly, and the packaging protected the instrument from any damage.

Son au top!

Hohner ist bei den Mundharmonikas einfach top. Ich spiele auch Seydel Harps, die sind aber etwas zickig und strenger zu benden (dafür sehen sie edler aus ;)
Die Hohner Bluesharp bietet sehr viel für's Geld: Sehr leichte Bendings, Holz Kanzellen und stabiles Etui.
Bei den Eigenschaften gebe ich einen Stern Abzug, weil bei meiner Harp die Kante der unteren Stimmplatte sehr scharfkantig war. Ich habe sie nachgeschliffen. Danach hatte ich keine Blasen mehr an der Unterlippe.

Wer noch eine bessere Harp möchte ist mit den Serien 'Rocket', 'Marine Band' Crossover oder 'Special 20' (alle von Hohner) noch besser bedient.

Die 'Rocket' Serie ist für mich das Mass aller DInge: scharfes Designe, runde Kanten am ganzen Instrument, etwas grösser, tolles Etui, Plastik Kanzellen (keine Wartung) und super Sound. Ich habe 3 davon und werde nur noch Rockets kaufen.

Die 'Marine Band' Crossover ist sehr edel, aber hat auch ihren Preis. Der Kanzellenkörper ist deutlich besser verarbeitet (abgerundet) und lackiert als der der MS Blues Harp. Etwas enttäuscht bin ich von der 'Marine Band' 364. Verarbeitung, Haptik und Soundfülle (im Vergleich zur Grösse) überzeugten mich nicht so.

Die 'Special 20's' sehen zwar etwas langweilig aus, auf ihnen ist Bending aber ein Kinderspiel. Ausserdem sind die Kanzellen wieder aus Plastik und somit einfacher in der Wartung.

Tolle Bluesharp!!!

La fornitura è arrivata in tempi brevi e l'imballaggio proteggeva lo strumento da eventuali danneggiamenti.

Hohner's harmonicas are simply top-notch. I also play Seydel harps, but they are a bit more difficult to bend (although they look more elegant).

The Hohner Bluesharp offers excellent value for money: very easy bending, wooden keys, and a sturdy case.

I'm deducting one star from the rating because the edge of the lower tone plate on my harp was very sharp. I had to file it down. After that, I no longer got blisters on my lower lip.

If you're looking for an even better harp, the 'Rocket', 'Marine Band' Crossover, or 'Special 20' series (all by Hohner) would be even better choices.

For me, the 'Rocket' series is the best: sharp design, rounded edges all over the instrument, slightly larger size, a great case, plastic keys (no maintenance required), and a fantastic sound. I own three of them and will only buy Rockets from now on.

The 'Marine Band' Crossover is very elegant, but it comes at a price. The key body is significantly better finished (rounded) and lacquered than that of the Hohner Bluesharp. I was a little disappointed with the 'Marine Band' 364. The finish, feel, and sound quality (compared to its size) didn't impress me as much.

The 'Special 20's' may look a bit plain, but bending is very easy on them. They also have plastic keys, which makes them easier to maintain.

La fornitura è avvenuta in tempi brevi e l'imballaggio era ideale per non danneggiare lo strumento.

Blues and more

Die MS Blues Harp ist ja ein Klassiker unter den Hohner Mundharmonika. 

Als Anfänger konnte ich relativ schnell Einzeltöne sauber treffen.
Allerdings fällt mir das Bending mit der MS ein bisschen schwerer als mit anderen. 

Insgesamt aber jeden Franken wert. 

Perfekter Einstieg

Der Evergreen unter den Mundharmonikas. Wer einen etwas volleren Sound haben möchte, sollte einmal Seydel testen
