Laney was founded in 1967 by Lyndon Laney near Birmingham. He had played in a band together with Robert Plant & John Bonham. At that time, there were no amplifiers that were loud enough, so Lyndon decided to develop and build his own amplifiers. Word quickly spread and demand was high. This was the beginning of Laney Amplification.
The Black Country Custom Amps (BCC) are designed and manufactured in the U.K. in the "Black Country" region near Birmingham, just as they were back then. Laney is still a family-run company which is managed by James Laney.

The DBV212-4 is a powerful, dynamic, compact mid-sized cabinet loaded with a pair of vertically aligned 2x12” vintage voiced HH Black Label series ceramic drivers. Designed to accentuate the impressive punch and tone of its ceramic drivers and move some serious air, the DBV212-4 may have a small footprint but its pro performance is anything but small! Equally at home or on stage or studio gig, the DBV212-4 delivers masses of punchy warm vintage tone. The DBV212-4 matches with either the DB500H or DB200H Digbeth heads.

Format super pratique avec sa configuration 4x10 verticale et gros son, le fait de pouvoir doser le niveau de sortie du tweeter est bien pratique, c'est sûr que ce n'est pas autant fin que sur un baffle avec potentiomètre (par exemple, Ampeg NEO ou certains cabs MarkBass) mais ça fait le job! Le poids est plutôt léger pour cette configuration, ce qui n'est pas trop mal si on déplace le baffle tout seul - les roulettes aident énormément à le rendre très transportable!
