Fatto bene, classico suono serie JCM800. Un 20 watt che suona bene in situazioni di home studio. Sicuramente ottimo per sessioni live pub, etc.

Impiego per Home studio.

Man kann gar nichts negatives zu Marshall sagen, nur:  Warum bekomme ich nur einen deutschen Stecker bei der Lieferung, wenn ich in der Schweiz bestelle? Somit konnte ich nicht sofort loslegen, sondern musste noch mühsam einen passenden Stecker / Kabel besorgen! 

Marshall bleibt Marshall = Perfekt

Erste Impressionen - erste Test meiner Anwendungsfälle - ich spiele zuhause nur mit 60-65 db. Ein Test bei Probelautstärke bleibt noch aus.

Nebengeräusche: ohne Signal - er ist leise wie mein alter '83 JCM 800 2210 - anders als bei anderen Modellen keine Dioden Geräusche des Netzteils, kein Brummen des Netztrafos. Der SC20h ist leise, auch mit vollem Master.

Loop: ja, die Lautstärke ist bei eingeschalteter Loop vermindert, aber der Ton ist immer noch da. Dieses Verhalten kann mMn bei höherer Lautstärke verschwinden.
Bem.: Das Master Volume ist vor dem FX Return - der Eingang in den Poweramp bedeutet volle Lautstärke.

Hitzeentwicklung des Netztrafos: neuere Marshalls scheinen wärmer zu werden als die alten aus den 80ern. Der SC20h wird warm, bleibt aber im grünen Bereich.

Drei Szenarien wurden mit einem TN Torpedo Captor mit -20db getestet.
(a) SC20H direkt oder mit einem Helix LT als Pedalboard (Phaser, TS808 oder Minotaur als Boost)
(b) SC20H 4cm mit dem Helix LT, umgeschaltet zwischen 3 verschiedenen Preamps und dem SC20H Preamp
(c) SC20H als Poweramp mit Helix LT Preamps via Return In.

Verwendete Boxen:
- Marshall 425a (Celestion G12c) - etwas zu viele Höhen, aber grossartig.
Im X-Mix mit '82 G12-65s etwas besser - Tests mit einer anderen Konfiguration steht noch aus.
- Tube Town 2x12 Open Back mit G12M 65 Creambacks - Klasse.
Klar, bei höherer Lautstärke wird es nur besser werden ;-)

Gitarren: LP mit SD Pearly Gates, Charvel mit SD 59 / JB, Strat mit Fender Select PUs

Befund
(a) Direkt: Es ist wirklich ein JCM 800. Sehr dynamisch, reagiert auf jeden mm am Volume-Knopf der Gitarre oder auf die Wahl der  PUs. Die Box bzw. Die Speaker sind wichtig. Clean 2 Mean mit einer LP ist möglich - Boost mit einem TS oä für Leads. So spielten wir in den 80ern ;-)
(b) 4CM: super Resultate. Mit den Helix Preamps erhält man verschiedene Sounds. Ein Clean Preamp, Britt Plexi oder 5150 Preamp klingen super. Die Lautstärke lässt sich gut zum SC20H Preamp anpassen, die Dynamik ist vergleichbar. 
(c) Power Amp: analog zu (b) nur ohne SC20H preamp. Habe dies nur zum Vergleich zum Orange Pedal Baby getestet.

Resumé:
Er klingt wie ein Einkanal-JCM 800, natürlich mit etwas weniger „thumb“  unten herum - mMn wird er sich in einer Band sehr gut durchsetzen.
Der SC20H ist zuhause mit einem Attenuator gut spielbar, ohne viel zu verlieren.
Für mich ein „keeper“, obwohl ich nur wenige Tests ohne Bandeinsatz gemacht habe
