The PMB-L is a box for passively mixing line signals. It is designed with two channels. Each channel has two balanced XLR/f input sockets, the input signals are mixed via a resistor matrix to an XLR/m output socket. The upper input is also galvanically isolated by transformers. Typical applications include combining two mixing consoles into one power amplifier or mixing a stereo signal into a mono signal. The transformer technology used makes it possible to assign the upper input asymmetrically, but to continue the output signal symmetrically.
