Roland is a world's leading manufacturer of musical instruments, electronic equipment, and software. It was found in 1972 by Ikutaro Kakehashi. Roland's influence on electronic music and technology is significant, and they have created iconic products that have shaped the music industry over the years. Thanks to their wide range of innovative products, Roland won its place on the market and has been able to make a real difference by bringing people and music closer.

The Tone Capsule is a modification circuit unit that changes the tube circuit characteristic of the original Blues Cube. The original Blues Cube produces rich and bold blues tone based on the characteristic of the 6L6 tube by Tube Logic. On the other hand, the Ultimate Blues Tone Capsule produces the sweet and deep compression feeling of a fully cranked-up small amp with 6V6 tubes, notably the small blackface amps famously used in numerous historical recordings. Generally, amps with 6V6 tubes aren’t very loud, but the Blues Cube with the Ultimate Blues Tone Capsule delivers sufficient output power even on the stage. Developed by Roland engineers under the supervision of blues guitarist Kirk Fletcher, the Ultimate Blues Tone Capsule fine-tunes the amp to suit his requirements, capturing both his soulful clean and sweet crunch sounds.

Cette capsule mérite vraiment 5 étoiles. Installée sur mon Roland Blues Cube Stage, j'ai découvert un tout autre ampli, avec un son clean hors du commun. Et en position 'saturée', son léger Crunch (overdrive léger) l'est tout autant. Vraiment excellent, très très proche d'un bon ampli à lampes.
Comme perso je favorise bien plus les bonnes pédales d'overdrive et de boost plutôt que le canal crunch de l'ampli, l'ampli se prête formidablement bien à l'utilisation de toutes mes pédales, et ce directement dans le connecteur Input en façade. Que ce soit sans mes pédales ou avec, cette capsule (la moins chère du lot !) est juste extraordinaire quant à ce qu'elle ajoute à mon ampli, déjà très bon sans la capsule. Les réglages proposés dans le mode d'emploi sont vraiment très bons. Ensuite chacun trouvera les réglages qui lui convient selon la guitares et éventuellement les pédales connectées.
Je pense vraiment qu'il est impossible de regretter cet achat, et il est très peu probable que cette capsule ne reste pas à demeure sur mon ampli.
J'ai longtemps hésité à en acheter une, comme les Robben Ford, Kirk Fletcher, Eric Johnson, toutes très bonnes, mais quand j'ai découvert une capsule qui faisait des 'étincelles' en clean, et à moins de 180.- j'ai enfin trouvé le son que je recherchais. Vraiment clean, plein de dynamique, de précision et de clarté, une superbe association avec mes très bonnes pédales d'overdrive, de boost et autre delay.
Si vous voulez rendre votre Blues Cube 'très bon ampli clean', n'hésitez pas !

Tone Capsule Sparkle Clean = redécouvrir l'ampli

Of course, everyone is looking for the sound that suits them best, and my opinion, of course, cannot satisfy all musicians. However, I would like to share my experience with capsule tones that I have used. First, the Eric Johnson signature, then the excellent Robben Ford, but I must say that this Ultimate Blues version is exceptional, or more accurately, the one that produces the sound I am looking for in the blues register: deep, full, precise, warm, from soft to subtle crunch that works well for me to convey emotions. The sound will change depending on whether I use a Strat or a Tele, but it will always be within the same excellent quality. As a result, I have eliminated the many pedals that cluttered my setup, and I now play live on my amp. Happy playing to everyone!

Tone capsule UB

Un son clean à tous les niveaux qui peut se structurer pour fignoler les nuances le Roland Blues est transformé en machine de guerre qui envoie du clean comme jamais. On oublie bien sûr les sons crunch ou les saturations vieux Blues pour entrer dans un domaine plus subtile qui permet d'apprécier chaque note sans artifice. Je suis fan.

Une incroyable métamorphose

Quickly switch between a wide range of tones, achieving a warm blues sound. Ideally, there would be a way to switch to a specific tone setting without having to repeatedly plug and unplug the tone capsule.

Great feature – a bluesy sound

Certes, chacun cherche le son qui lui conviendra et mon avis bien sûr ne peut répondre à tous les musiciens. Enfin je partage avec vous mon expérience des tones capsules que j'ai joué. En premier la signature Eric Johson, puis la très bonne Robben Ford mais, je dois dire que cette version Ultimate Blues est exceptionnelle ou plus raisonnablement celle qui produit LE SON que je cherche dans le registre du Blues, profond, ample, précis, chaud du doux au crunch discret et subtile qui me convient bien pour faire passer des sentiments. Le son va changer d'une strat à une télé c'est certain mais toujours dans le même registre de cette belle qualité sonore. Au résultat j'ai mis dans mes cartons, le pédales trop nombreuses qui garnissaient mon set et je joue nature en direct sur mon ampli. Bonne musique à tous

Schnelle Umstellung des Tonspektrums in einen warmen Blues-Tone. Ideal wäre ein Umschalten auf die Tone Capsule, ohne diese jedesmal ein- und ausstecken zu müssen.
