The ASTRO-20 is a 3-channel, 4-Galaxy, Built-In-USA 1×12” combo that combines authentic all-tube tone with features ideal for today’s modern guitarist. Mike Soldano designed this sonic powerhouse to be a fully featured versatile 20w guitar amplifier. The ASTRO-20 can also be used as a stand-alone cab-less amplifier ideal for live sound, rehearsal and studio recording sessions, thanks to the DSP powered IR cabinet simulation.

The simple front panel design of the ASTRO-20 lets you save any combination of the channels, Galaxies, and IRs and quickly recall them with the included 4-button MIDI footswitch. The free downloadable Soldano Editor Software makes organizing presets and integrating your own IRs fast and easy.

20 Watt? Das ist viel zu leise…., oder doch nicht?
Nein. Die Sounds sind Klasse von Grün (clean) bis Rot (Soldano Overdrive) und der Amp setzt sich in einer Rockband mit zwei Gitarristen durch.
Es fehlt nichts bei diesem Amp, ausser Reverb. Aber dies lässt sich über den Einschleifweg realisieren.
Ich nutze die 4CM und habe den Amp an eine 4x12 Box angehängt. Das dient mir als „Monitor“. Über das DI läuft das Signal an die PA (oder FOH). Über die integrierten IR‘s lässt sich nochmals der gewünschte Sound einstellen.
Der Astro hat Midi und ich nutze das HX Effects als Zentrale. Kanalumschaltung geht einfach und mehr als genügend Kanäle können programmiert werden.
Der Astro-20 Head hat alles was ich mir wünsche…

Vielseitig und satter sound

20 Watts? That's far too quiet… or is it?
No. The sounds range from a clean green to a Soldano Overdrive, and the amp cuts through in a two-guitar rock band.
Nothing is missing from this amp, except reverb. However, this can be achieved through the onboard effects loop.
I use the 4CM and have the amp connected to a 4x12 cabinet. This serves as my "monitor". The signal is then sent to the PA (or FOH) via the DI. The integrated IRs also allow me to fine-tune the desired sound.
The Astro has MIDI and I use the HX Effects as the central control. Channel switching is simple, and more than enough channels can be programmed.
The Astro-20 Head has everything I could want…
