Introduced by Music Man at the 2009 Winter NAMM Convention, the new line is dedicated to meeting the demands of guitarists and bassists looking for the quality they have come to expect from the Music Man family.

The focus is on high quality and value aimed at the mid range price point. These are a more affordable version of the Music Man instruments that will be at home with the pro player and the novice alike. Looking for a second guitar or your next step up into a pro level instrument, Sterling by Music Man will deliver the tones, playability, quality and value you need for your musical needs.

Features such as all solid tonewoods, Music Man designed parts, Active electronics, locking tuners, heavy padded gig bags and set up/inspection in our Orange, CA USA facility are all standard features. Sterling by Music Man pledges to give you a quality instrument that will meet or exceed your expectations for all of your musical needs.

The guitar also features a vintage style tremolo, an oversized 4 + 2 headstock for a straight string-through angle, and an HSS or SSS configuration with 5 way switching.

The Cutlass CT50HSS features a roasted maple neck and locking tuners, delivering durability and an incredibly satisfying playing feel in one.
