The semi-acoustic VOX Bobcat with its combination of hollow body and three pickups was a real sensation in the mid-1960s. This was not only due to its beautiful design at the time, but also because it was a semi-acoustic guitar with three pickups. Based on the original models, VOX has reissued the British Invasion. The historical design has been retained. Only the technical details have been modernized. The body, pickguard, pickup and headstock logo have the retro look from the 1960s. However, the playing style has changed. Thanks to the glued neck joint, the highest frets are easier to reach. The fixed Tune-o-Matic bridge also enables optimal string position for smoother playing. The semi-resonance principle, which is based on a weight-relieving central block, improves sustain and counteracts feedback even at high levels. The pickups, which still produce the retro look and sound, have also been technically revised. They still deliver a distinctive sound that fundamentally distinguishes the VOX Bobcat from other semi-acoustic guitars. This guitar impresses with its uniqueness across the board - both in design and sound.
