Impressive lightweight with serious sound.
The compact and lightweight amplifiers of the VX series have exciting company with the 50W model for bass: this amplifier also contains an innovative Nutube tube. It features an 8"-speaker developed by VOX and a unique bass reflex structure for a powerful and bass-rich transmission of the warm tube sound. With the 4-band tone control, the bass sound can be optimized for any application. The compressor effect is now a must for bassists - and although the overdrive effect can hiss bitterly, it also cuts a very good figure as a subtle overtone supplier. On the input and output side, this amplifier has an AUX IN, a headphone and a DIRECT OUT socket for direct connection to the sound system. The VX50 BA has a red color scheme and features the traditional vertical VOX logo and a metal grill. Just so nobody gets the idea that you're doing things by halves...

For its size, it has quite a bit of power, sounds pretty good, but it's not comparable to larger amplifiers. I mainly need it for live performances in small bars when space is limited. However, it's too weak for a large stage.
