The Wharfedale Pro DP-2200 is a powerful 2-channel Class D amplifier that can power sophisticated speaker systems. STABLE UP TO 2 OHM
Stable up to 2 Ohms (*except DP-4030) and with enormous output power. The performance figures of the DP series are overwhelming. The nominal power is measured at THD = 1%, continuously sinusoidal 1 KHz, with all channels operating simultaneously. This allows multiple 8-Ω or 16-Ω loudspeakers to be operated with extreme power.
Power Factor Correction
Let's just do it to ourselves... and call it PFC instead! In combination with the switching power supplies in the amplifiers of the DP series, PFC increases amplifier efficiency and ensures smooth power output even with large fluctuations in the AC power supply. In the real world, it makes a huge difference in amplifier power and stability.
