We bought this guitar to my girlfriend who wanted to start learning guitar, and since she already learnt some ukulele she went for a smaller size (we didn't go for a guitarlele since the tuning is different there). I think it was a nice purchase overall. Due to its body size, the sound is not as loud as a full size guitar. I also feel a bit awkward with the frets since I am more used to the full size, but my girlfriend is happy with it (saying she can finally do a C chord). We wanted to change the strap holders with a locking holders, which we failed so be warned. The part under the fretboard could be replaced easily, but the one on the opposite side was impossible to remove (and looks like a bigger hole than normal) so in the end we didn't change that yet... Overall, I don't think this will please more advanced players, but for beginners it is a great purchase
