I was looking for a well-playable, classic, and quality-made four-string instrument – and I found it! What I like: - A defined tone on the E string, meaning it sounds good almost everywhere - Bright-sounding pickups with increased output (the high frequencies can be tamed with the tone control) - Long sustain - Looks good, especially the black headstock - A stable neck-body connection Honestly, nothing bothers me. Perhaps I would replace the two volume knobs with a master volume and a switch for four different sounds (single, parallel, and series). I don't miss active electronics. I can wholeheartedly recommend this bass.
