The Yamaha MG06X is a small mixer that fits my purpose when working for 10 to 20 persons in restaurants' gig. It small lot of place on stage. I mostly appreciate the balanced output connectors which provide a certain level of professionalism to this Yamaha mixer. The effects are not great but good enough for this price range.
I use this Yamaha MG06 mixer as an interface to connect a piano and a HiFi system (pre-out) to powered speakers, and headphones. It helps me to level out the differences between the piano and the pre-amp outputs. I use it for my projects developing and producing professional transmission-line speaker systems too. The mixer produces a clear, perfect sound with no distortion and no noise. So I'm really happy with it and I can recommend it, especially for musicians.
