Developed for professional pianists, the 88-button synthesizer MODX M8 offers exceptional sound, expressive control, optimized workflow and realistic graded hammer mechanics in a compact, lightweight design. With three engines that create a breathtaking variety of sounds, as well as the common DNA of our flagship model MONTAGE M, MODX M raises expressiveness to a new level in every way.
AN-X ENGINE
Integrated into the motion control system, the AN-X engine allows you to create expressive, uniquely analog-sounding sounds according to your personal ideas.
AWM2
Experience realism and detail with the MODX M Advanced Wave Memory (AWM2). With up to 128 elements per part, AWM2 enables more layers and articulations and offers you an extensive palette for sound generation, especially for “namelable” sounds such as piano and strings.
268-FOLD POLYPHONY
MODX M offers a polyphony of up to 268 notes via its three engines

PRESET WAVE AND FLASH STORAGE UPGRADE: MODX M offers about twice as much memory as MODX/MODX+ with an increase of 5.68 GB to 10.7 GB AWP2 memory and 1.9 GB user flash memory. - VCM ROTARY SPEAKER: The VCM Rotary Speaker effect simulates the rich and enveloping motion of a classic Rotary speaker case.
SPECIAL PART AND SCENE CONTROL
There are special buttons for the part and scene selection, with which you can control 8 parts per performance. This intuitive control is especially beneficial for live performances, improves overall ease of use, and adds an extra dimension to each performance.
HIGH-RESOLUTION CONTROL
The MODX M-Regulators, Super Knob, Pitch Bend, Mod Wheel and Sound Engine are now high-resolution. Thanks to the fine resolution, the MODX M works more fluidly than its predecessor models.

- Velocity-sensitive with Initial Touch; no aftertouch
- Designed to deliver the feel of an acoustic piano while offering full synthesis/control capabilities

Excellent service provided by the customer service representative: delivery was on time. The M7 keyboard has sound quality almost as good as a professional-grade keyboard. The new version includes 3 "sound engines". The structure and usability are much better than Modx.
