First launched in 1990, the Pacifica Series was driven by the California session scene of the day - where versatility, performance and individuality were key. Inspired by those custom-shop guitars and that original vision, the 612V Mk II features a vintage Wilkinson VS-50 tremelo bridge, brilliant Seymour Duncan pickups and incredible playability and tone.

This guitar stands in my room on a guitar stand next to an MJ Charvel, a Fender Elite Strat and an Ernie Ball Cutlass. The latter three guitars cost 2-3 times as much as this ine and yet I probably reach for the Pacifica most often. It has a solid, flawless build with quality parts, a fantastic neck and a tone that is stratty when it needs to be, but the unsplit humbucker position probably sound the best of all guitars I have. This instrument makes you realize how much extra you are paying for big name guitars, whereas you can get the same or even better quality from a less fashionable but trusted manufacturer known for attention to detail. And the guitar looks stunning, too, and weighs probably the least of my four guitars. I recommend it wholeheartedly to players at any level.

Beautiful, versatile and modern sound, it goes out of the Strat standards. And excellent build quality. I am very happy with the guitar
