I initially wanted to buy a Warwick Dolphin custom edition (a childhood dream, I painstakingly saved for this one and was about to buy it). When I tried this bass guitar in the shop, I discovered the Yamaha TRBX 305, which not only sounded better, but also had a much better neck. I immediately fell in love with both the neck (incredibly thin and easy to play) and the variety of sounds you could get from this instrument. At that point, I didn't even consider the price of the bass. When I saw that it was ten times cheaper, it was an obvious choice. To this day, I don't regret buying it for a single second. I doubt I ever will.
