Mein altes Korg Expressionpedal aus den 80er Jahren, knisterte bei Betätigung, also entschied ich mich ein neues Pedal von Korg zu kaufen, und das alte Pedal nicht zu restaurieren. Da die Orgelsounds meines Korg SV1 viel lauter sind als die (E-)Pianosounds muss da Live das Volume kontrolliert werden.

Das Material und die Beschaffenheit, Verarbeitung des Korg XVP-20 VOL/EXP ist sehr hoch. Trotzdem kam es im Zusammenhang mit dem Korg SV1 trotzdem zu einer Enttäuschung.

Anstatt 4 Audiokabel in das Pedal zu führen, war die Idess einen Stereo Klinke mit dem Expression Pedal Port vom Korg SV1 zu verbinden. Das Pedal funktioniert, jedoch scheint das Poti 'Min Volume' unwirksam. Zusätzlich waren die brauchbaren Lautstärken mit dem Fuss Pedal zwischen 0cm und 1-cm Ausschlag, anschliessend war das Korg SV1 dann sehr sehr leise. Es kommt mir vor wie wenn das Pedal Potentiometer nicht linear geht, das Korg SV1 aber linear... ich denke da müsste Korg beim SV1 oder XVP-20 nachbessern. Könnte sein, dass Pedal mit einem Korg Kronos besser funktioniert, Dies erklärt dann aber nicht ganz warum namhafte deutsche Händler das Korg SV1 mit diesem Expressionpedal als Bundle anbieten.

Wenn ich die Lautstärke des Korg SV1 via 4 Audio Klinkenkabel steuere, dann funktioniert Poiti 'Min Volume', und Lautsstärke lässt sich erwartungsgemäss gut dosieren, auch Soundqulität ist nicht merkbar vom Pedal negativ beeinflusst..
