Im direkten Vergleich mit dem sehr viel günstigeren Bugera G20 Infinium tun sich für Classic Rocker mit dem SV20 Welten auf. Wo der Infinium dosig und komprimiert klingt, klingt der SV20 an einer 2x12 transparent und dynamisch. Allerdings ist der SV20 extrem laut. Ampseitige Verzerrung geht selbst im Bandraum nur jenseits erträglicher Lautstärken. Der Amp ist bei mir deshalb clean eingestellt, die Verzerrung liefern Pedale, mit denen sich der SV20 sehr gut verträgt. Wer sich gerne mal die Eule vom Ast kegelt, bekommt mit dem Okko Diablo GH einen waffenscheintauglichen Brachialsound. Etwas zivilisierter geht es mit dem TC Electronic Magus Pro zu, der im Bandkontext hilft, den SV20 zu bändigen.

Super ist der Effekt Loop, in dem bei mir Reverb, Delay und Chorus hängen. Ansonsten ist der SV20 ein One-Trick-Pony mit einer extrem sensiblen Lautstärkeregelung in den unteren Bereichen, hier ist zwischen 1 und 2 Feinstarbeit gefragt.

Grandios

Looks: This thing is way better looking in person. The black and gold color scheme is gorgeous and the entire unit looks well made and sturdy.

Sound: As you'd expect, it sounds like a Marshall. I have been using pedals and modelling products to get the classic Marshall sound and I couldn't quite nail it. As soon as I plugged it in, the sound was there. It is also insanely loud even on low power mode. Everyone says it's really loud, they aren't lying.

Packaging: My amp took a long journey to get here and it wasn't packaged particularly well, but surprisingly there were no scuffs or signs of wear. There was styrofoam inserts which probably helped, but there was no plastic around the actual amp and the box was ripped by the time it got to me, so there was potential for damage. Luckily nothing though!

My amp came with a blown tube, but Musix made it right. They are great to deal with!

Overall, all of the amp I expected it to be, and more. I was worried about spending this much on a PCB amp, but I'm a home player mostly so hopefully it will be ok sitting here. After hearing it for the first time I'm glad I chose this one, a Marshall is a Marshall, and this is a darn good one.

Hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen.

Endlich habe ich meinen Amp gefunden

Je l'ai attendu longtemps, ce son !
Vraiment ça envoie, c'est incroyable. 
Mais au niveau des caractéristiques c'est pas top. Pas de reverb, pas de master volume. Et il faut ponter les canaux pour doser l'équilibre aigus/basse avec les deux volumes. Ça marche, on y arrive, et le son est absolument magnifique, mais c'est pas pratique.
Pour doser le volume plus finement j'ai une 'JHS Little Black Amp Box' dans la boucle d'effet. Ça marche bien mais si on baisse beaucoup le volume, on perd un peu de saturation, ce qui n'est pas un drame puisque le son reste très bon.
Je sais bien que c'est l'esprit Vintage (même le nom l'indique), mais ça aurait été très facile et apprécié d'avoir quelques fonctions de base supplémentaires...dommage.
Cependant je recommande chaudement cet ampli à tous ceux qui aiment le son Plexi, car on oublie vite ces petits inconvénients quand on écoute le résultat.

LE son rock !

Bin begeistert! Er tönt wie mein alter 50W, hat aber einen Effects-Loop wo man ein Volumepoti einschleifen kann. So hat man immer den perfekten Sound in der Lautstärke die gewünscht wird. Der Amp ist perfekt für zu Hause, im Studio und auf der Bühne. Die 20W genügen vollends.
