Pioneering audio recording for more than 60 years.

Founded in 1958 by Bill Putnam Sr., Universal Audio has been synonymous with innovative recording products since its inception. A favorite engineer of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles and more, the late Bill Putnam Sr. was a passionate innovator who is widely regarded as the father of modern recording — with many of his legendary studio and equipment designs still in use today.

Specifically, Putnam was the inventor of the modern recording console, the multi-band audio equalizer, and the vocal booth, and he was the first engineer to use artificial reverberation in commercial recording. Alongside his friend Les Paul, Putnam was also involved in the early development of stereophonic recording.

Putnam, a natural entrepreneur, started three audio product companies during his long career: Universal Audio, Studio Electronics, and UREI. All three companies built equipment that remains widely used decades after their introduction, including the ubiquitous LA-2A and 1176 compressors, and the 610 tube recording console. The 610 console in particular stands as one of the most beloved designs in audio history, used to record everyone from Sinatra to the Beach Boys to Van Halen’s eponymous debut.

The quality of this pedal is phenomenal and the sound is just really really good.  I imagine that the only better reverb out there would be the analog reverb found in amps.  This pedal is really worth the money.  I moved from the HOF2 to this pedal and there's simply no competition between these two.  

As good as it gets

È un reverbero parecchio bagnato, nel senso che anche a impostazioni basse rimane piuttosto intenso, ma straordinario, inoltre adesso si possono salvare molti preset nel telefono via bluetooth, nell'app si caricano anche altri bellissimi preset di artisti o della comunità. Non è vero quanto scrive qualche persona che in bypass altera il suono assolutamente no. Consiglio come reverbero di base alternativo se si cerca una bella naturalezza e non troppo bagnato il Mad Professor Spring molto basilare ma incredibilmente buono (giusto per esempio per il jazz). Il Golden lo si gode e apprezza fino in fondo in tutte le impostazioni. Anche per lasciarlo sempre acceso come faccio io adesso va benissimo comunque, anche se Mad Professor ha qualcosa di più naturale, ma sono sottigliezze. Questo Golden vale davvero il prezzo come reverbero di base. Ci sono anche dei preset bellissimi e lussureggianti di ambiente comunque.

Das Pedal klingt fantastisch so wie die alten Original Reverbs die darin gespeichert sind. 
Mit alten E-Gitarren klingt alles noch authentischer. Schaut euch das Video auf der Universal Audio Website über die UAFX- Pedale an, so klingt das wirklich.
