Ich habe die Yamaha SLG200S nun bereits seit einigen Wochen in Gebrauch und kann sie mit meiner Erfahrung der SLG100S vergleichen. Besonders positiv fällt der geringe Batterieverbrauch der SLG200S auf, welcher im Vergleich zum Vorgänger deutlich verbessert wurde.

Die Verarbeitung beider Gitarren ist absolut makellos. Die Mechaniken sind schlicht, aber effektiv; die Gitarre lässt sich sauber stimmen und behält die Stimmung zuverlässig bei. Die Potis laufen ebenfalls sehr sauber, wenn auch die Knöpfe etwas klein geraten sind.

Die Klangvielfalt der SLG200S beeindruckt. Von einem leicht sterilen Piezo-Sound bis hin zu den gesampelten Klängen ist eine breite Palette an Sounds möglich. Allerdings finde ich, dass der eingebaute Kompressor etwas zu stark eingreift. Da ich mit Finger- und Thumbpick spiele, bleibt mir dadurch etwas von der Dynamik auf der Strecke, was ich als Nachteil empfinde.

Die Saitenlage der 12-53er Saiten ist für meinen Geschmack minimal zu hoch. Ich überlege, entweder auf einen 11er Satz umzusteigen oder den Hals ein wenig justieren zu lassen, um die Spielbarkeit zu verbessern.

Ein interessanter Aspekt ist, dass sich der Klang je nach verwendetem Kopfhörer deutlich verändert, was vermutlich auf die Impedanz der Kopfhörer zurückzuführen ist.

Trotz dieser kleinen Mängel bietet die Yamaha SLG200S ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und überzeugt insgesamt durch ihre Qualität und Klangvielfalt.

Testbericht zur Yamaha SLG200S

Die SLG 200S ist sehr stylisch und leicht. Die ist Verarbeitung top, Saitelage habe ich etwas tiefer gelegt, ist aber natürlich Geschmackssache und abhängig von der Spielweise.

Der Klang kommt für mich sehr authentisch rüber und für die puristen: Auch bei den 'echten' Westerngitarren sind die Klänge ja sehr verschieden. Sie ist tendenziell etwas basslastig und ich drehe den Bass ganz raus, geht gut so.

Wegen dem doch leichten Korpus ist die Gitarre etwas kopflastig, nicht schlimm aber eben doch. Unangenehmer finde ich dass sie vorneüber kippt, dies weil der linke Gurtpin hinten an der Gitarre liegt und dadurch der Schwerpunkt deutlich vorne liegt. Am besten sitzend spielen, geht auch live auf einem Barhocker oder einfach mit dem rechten Unterarm etwas zurückhalten.

Toll ist natürlich bauartbedingt, dass die Rückkopplung absolut kein Problem ist und ein hingucker ist sie allemal.

Ich kann sie weiterempfehlen und würde sie wieder kaufen.

Sehr gut

Es ist einfach ein Wunder, was für Sound aus dem Teil rauskommt. Meiner Meinung nach, nicht nur als Silent Guitar einsetzbar sondern mit dem richtigen Verstärker, ist die Gitarre Bühnen reif. Als Manko würde ich die etwas scharfe Bünde nennen und etwas unpräzise Stimmmechaniken. Nichts was sich mit geringen Aufwand beheben lässt. Preis / Leistung stimmt, also meine klare Empfehlung.

Silent Guitar und viel mehr...

Die Gitarre ist wirklich ideal für unterwegs. Sie spielt sich wie eine 'richtige', aber wird von der Umgebung nicht wahrgenommen. Nach dem Üben  schnell zerlegt, ist sie selbst im Wohnwagen gut zu verstauen. Die Elektronik klingt gut und das Üben macht Spass damit.

Après 2 semaines d'utilisation je suis très satisfait de cette guitare.
Le son rendu est juste au top et les réglages possibles sur la guitare sont déjà intéressants.
Pour vraiment tirer le meilleur rendu possible, passer par un bon ampli est nécessaire.
Le THR10C fait bien le job pour jouer en appartement.
