Das Gerät erinnert mich an die 4-Spur-Kassettenrekorder, die ich vor 40 Jahren benutzt hatte, aber sie haben auch nur die 4 Aufnahmespuren gemeinsam. Das Zoom R4 MultiTrak ist natürlich auf einem Ausstattungslevel, davon konnten wir früher nicht einmal träumen. Es wird ein wenig Einarbeitungszeit benötigt, aber nach der ersten Aufnahme hat man alles im Griff. Besonders beeindruckt haben mich die Bounce-Funktion und das eingebaute Mikrofon. Dann natürlich die 32-bit Float Funtion, das ist traumhaft, kein Aussteuern mehr. Das kleine Gerät ist ein Traum für jeden Musiker, der nicht viel Schnick-Schnack braucht, und trotzdem ist alles integriert, was nötig ist, auch tolle Effekte und Drums. Wer mal in meine erste Kreation mit dem Gerät (inkl. internes Mikro) reinhören möchte, sucht auf hearthis.at nach dem Song Carpe Diem von Ralph G. Meier
