Inspired by the outstanding performance of the FATCAB.
The extremely eloquent answer to the question of the most compact, yet good sounding box to match the BluGuitar AMP1.
Only a 12" speaker came into question, since with 10" speakers the low-mid foundation is underrepresented. Therefore, it was clear that the 12" speaker would dictate the minimum size of the cabinet. On this basis, BluGuitar experimented with cabinet depth and various bass reflex designs and tunings. Open cabinet designs were also used.
It quickly became clear that a cabinet opening provides a higher bass resonance, which gives clean and distorted sounds a special airiness. It must not be very large, otherwise important resonances disappear. As a result, the cabinet then sounds too "small". The optimum punch for rock sounds, on the other hand, can only be delivered by a closed cabinet design.
This is how the idea of the small enclosure opening in the NANOCAB came about, which you can open or close yourself with a few flicks of the wrist, depending on your taste. To get even more heat, the speaker was mounted from behind on the baffle and a Basket Weave front covering was chosen.
The test of different prototypes led to an amazing result: No matter what style is played, from clean to crunch to high gain, whether jazz, blues or rock - the combination of NANOCAB and AMP1 sounds great! Due to its bass reflex tuning, the NANOCAB has a really big sound with never suspected low bass. The NANOCAB still fits in a large travel case and can, thanks to its compactness, so be transported on the plane, train or motorcycle.
The BluGuitar NANOCAB is the smallest 1x12" cabinet with the biggest possible sound - an absolute reference as a compact cabinet that has no real competitor.
