I bought one about 6 months ago to test. Since I was already familiar with the thinner version, I was confident despite the high price. One of my favorite picks for solo playing. The indentations on both sides allow for a secure grip between the thumb and index finger. It even holds better if the fingers are slightly damp. So far, there's hardly any visible wear. This justifies the relatively high price.
