Di Marzio DP111 / SDS-1 (white)

Der SDS-1 kommt bei mir als Stegtonabnehmer in einer 3-Single-coil-Konfiguration zum Einsatz und überzeugt da vollends. Er liefert überraschend viel Power und hilft so vor allem bei Solos herauszustechen. Trotzdem bleibt der Klang schön rund anstatt schrill oder schwamming zu werden. Im Vergleich zu anderen Single Coils ist der SDS-1 eher warm klingend, allerdings nicht besonders. Meiner Meinung nach eine fantastische Option für Leute, die ein wenig mehr Power wollen, aber den klassischen Single Coil-Sound nicht aufgeben wollen. Sehr gut geeignet für Blues und Rock, evtl sogar gewisse Formen von Metal, obwohl er da langsam an seine Grenzen kommt.
