These are very nice, very well-sounding Telecasters, particularly for the metal genre (though they do have EMG pickups, which some people may not like). However, I was a bit surprised and disappointed by the build quality, especially considering the "Mexican" price. The pickguard is attached at an angle, and most of the screws are rusting or the finish is peeling. This isn't a major issue, but I don't think it's acceptable at a "deep" Telecaster price. It's possible that I just got a bad example, but that's just how it goes sometimes. I would still buy this guitar again; it plays extremely well, has a beautiful, fast neck. Also, I find the weight of the guitar to be perfect, although it might be heavier than most people prefer.
