With more than 170 years of experience in manufacturing harmonicas, C.A. SEYDEL Söhne is the oldest harmonica manufacturer in the world still producing today. A multitude of well-known artists, but also countless hobby and amateur musicians have found their favourite instruments in our harmonicas.  In 1847 Christian August Seydel founded the company of the same name, which is still located in the town of Klingenthal, known for 350 years for the construction of musical instruments. Under the leadership of the descendants of the company founder, C.A. SEYDEL Söhne developed at the end of the 19th century into the most important harmonica manufacturer in the city that dominated the world market at that time.  In the 20th century, a changeful history followed, which included nationalisation in the former GDR and the subsequent reprivatisation after the reunification of Germany. Since 2004, C.A. SEYDEL Söhne has met the challenges of the 21st century with a completely revised product range. The quality of the instruments has been raised to a new level through years of in-house development work and the participation of professional musicians. The use of stainless steel reeds in the top instruments creates another unique selling point on the world market. Due to the improved tone response, assertiveness and durability of the stainless steel reeds, C.A. SEYDEL Söhne was the first harmonica manufacturer to break new ground and change the image of the harmonica from a disposable article to a full-fledged musical instrument.  The production is still mainly handmade and exclusively at the Klingenthal site.

Für eine Harmonika mit Plastik Kanzellenkörper wirkt die Silver solide und professionell und nicht wie Spielzeug wie bei manchen anderen Herstellern. Der höhere Preis ist durch die sehr lange Lebensdauer der Stahl-Stimmzungen gerechtfertigt. Mir gefällt der Klang, etwas weniger rauh und dreckig als Hohner-Harmonikas, aber das ist Geschmackssache. 

Haltbare, schöne Harmonika

Sehr gut. Empfelenswert.
Besser als Hohner,Suzuki oder sogar Oscar Lee.

Seyder Silver Bb Dur Harmonica

Top-Harmonika von der deutschen Firma Seydel. Klare, ziemlich laute Töne, die auch in den obersten Stufen leicht zu spielen sind. Bendings gelingen ebenfalls sehr schnell.

Praktisch: obwohl 'nur' in einer Kartonschachtel ausgeliefert, ist diese sehr edel gestaltet, stabil und mit Scharnieren als gutes Etui zu gebrauchen. Mitgeliefert wird eine kleine Information zur Pflege sowie ein Putztüchlein.
