It's a great idea and works well but everything about it screams 'cheap' the seams on the plastic, the battery lid, the battery connector and the mode switch is totally lacking in positive feedback. Really it feels like someone bought the cheapest parts from radio shack and made this at home. There isn't even a proper battery compartment, just an empty space and a 9v connector on a wire with a bit of foam to stop the battery rattling too much. 

Happy I got it but set your quality expectations very low.

Nice device but super low quality

Chouette appareil qui fonctionne très bien. Néanmoins son utilisation est assez difficile. C'est un instrument en soi, donc il faut passer des heures dessus. Je l'ai depuis plusieurs années, mais je ne l'ai pas assez utilisé pour en avoir une bonne maîtrise.

This is an old piece of kit, but it does produce a sound that has been around for a while and cannot really be equalled. It is a cheap looking piece of plastic, fragile and toy-like, but the sounds you can get by using it are brilliant

Entspricht all meinen Erwartungen. 
Auf meiner PRS E Gitarre ist es einfach die Stellen zu finden um die Saiten in Schwingung zu bringen und unendliches Sustain zu erzeugen. 
Wechsel auf andere Saiten ist gut möglich, dauert nicht lange, bis die neue Saite anspricht. 
Harmonics Mode ist ein Plus, setze ich jedoch seltener ein

Ein klassiker! Jeder Gitarrist braucht ein eBow.

Ausser dem Batteriefachdeckel, der leider nach dem ersten öffnen nicht mehr richtig einrastet und nun immer wieder von alleine aufgeht, sehr zu empfehlen

O.K. Das Ding funktioniert. Aber einfach auspacken und ein super Streicheround hinlegen ist doch nicht so einfach. Man muss sich Zeit nehmen: Aufsetzen auf die Saite, den Hotspot suchen, die Lautstärke fühlen usw... ja, wirklich die Lautstärke fühlen, wie lange und wie nah an die Saite....Wer den Mut und die Geduld zum experimentieren aufbringt, kann mit dem Teil coole Sounds erzeugen.

vor Jahren schon einmal probiert und schnell aufgegeben. Nun wieder neu entdeckt. man muss sich drauf einlassen.
