Mit der Vielzahl an Saiten, welche einem Gitarristen zur Verfügung stehen, bleibt nur das Experimentieren. Ich habe schon etliche Sorten von Saiten ausprobiert, und hatte eigentlich jeweils etwas zu bemängeln. Aber bei diesen Made In California Saiten, ist mir persönlich ein Gefallen gemacht worden. Hoffentlich gibt es diese noch lange, dann kann ich endlich aufhören zu suchen! Ist schon eher für den härteren Ton gedacht, sind aber auch für sehr weiche Töne und besonders melodische Solos unschlagbar.  (Unter Verwendung von EMG Pickups). Auch die Verpackung ist Astrein auf Haltbarkeit getrimmt. Spielen lassen die Saiten sich wie ein Traum. Sie lassen sich auch sehr präzise Stimmen (die G Saite ist einfach toll) und sind sehr schnell eingespielt, ideal für Studio und Bühne. Sind allerdings Temperaturempfindlich, also Warmspielen ist durchaus zu empfehlen, dann klingen sie aber Stundenlang richtig professionell.  Und für Hobbymusiker natürlich Tage - und Wochenlang. Allerdings für die Profis würde ich schon empfehlen, den tollen Sound jeweils für jede Studiosession neu aufzuziehen. Es lohnt sich!
