The highs and lows are optimally balanced and the head doesn't fade out for too long.

Na ja... John Bonham von Led Zeppelin spielte diese Heads und liess mich deshalb von seinem Gear-Setup inspirieren. Ich bin kein sonderlich versierter Drummer und Bonham bleibt für mich in vieler Hinsicht unerreichbar: Groove- und Soundmässig, einfach klasse. Gerade weil er meine Inspiration ist, kaufte ich diesen Head. Obwohl ich auch eine Metall-Snare spiele, kriegte ich mi dem Remo Emperor Coated 14' keinen coolen sound. Ausserdem war das Fell schnell durchgespielt. Ich testete nach eingehender Enttäuschung aufgrund von Empfehlungen anderer Drummer die Heads von Evans... Tut mir leid Remo, aber ich muss passen...

Coated Emperor heads are warmer and more durable than Clear Emperors. They're made with two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar film, which gives consistent open warm tones which accounts for their popularity among many of today's Studio, Pop, R&B and Rock drummers.
