Das ist einer der kleinen Helfer auf der Bühne. Es gibt einen Buffer/Booster und zwei Effektschleifen. Ich habe an einer Schleife meine Verzerrer und in der anderen Schleife die restlichen Effekte wie Chorus, Wah usw. Der Vorteil: Wenn der Effekt nicht gebraucht wird, nimmt man ihn aus dem Signalweg raus und hat dadurch weniger Verluste durch viele Kontakte und Elektroniken. Der Buffer ist auch wichtig, um das Instrumentensignal für längere Kabel durch Absenken der Ausgangsimpedanz quasi vorzubereiten. Er wirkt wie ein kleiner Vorverstärker, der das Signal aber treu und unverfälscht weitergibt - wahlweise mit (Boost) oder ohne (Buffer) zusätzliche Verstärkung. Der Signalboost ist regelbar.
Da ich oft clean spiele und den Klang meiner alten und auch neuen Instrumente sehr mag ist dieses Teil für mich unerlässlich.
