Es wäre unfair, bei dem Preis überhaupt etwas zu bemängeln aber vielleicht drei Hinweise für potenzielle Käufer:

1. Schaltet nicht absolut knackfrei. 
2. Aufgrund der kompakten Bauweise kein Batteriebetrieb möglich.
3. Tone-Regler mischt ab 2 Uhr je nach Pickup böse Obertöne dazu. 

Für Stoner-Rock (zB Monster Magnet) bestens geeignet. Tolles Teil. 

Mega! Und das zu dem Preis!

Vorab: Wir (2 Erwachsene &amp; ein 10j) sind grad aus dem Anfängertum raus und spielen seit rund einem Jahr. Gespielt wird auf einer Squier Strat Vintage modified, einer Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plustop Pro und einer Ibanez Gio. Als Amps haben wir einen Fender Bassbreaker 007, einen Fender Blues Junior und einen Marshall Code 50. 

Nach ewigem Rumprobieren mit einem Multieffektgerät (Zoom G1XON) und den im Code 50 eingebauten Effekten haben wir uns zu Weihnachten gemeinsam ein erstes Pedalboard zum Experimentieren gegönnt mit folgenden Tone City Effekten: Sweet Cream, Fuxx Fuzz, Summer Orange, Tape Machine und Tiny Spring. Die Effekte nutzen wir mit allen Gitarren (Single Coil &amp; Humbucker) über die beiden Fender Tube Amps, beide Amps nehmen die Fusstreter exzellent an.

Vorab: Alle Effekte sind stabil gebaut, klein, gut verständlich (Max. 3 Parameter einstellbar, Knopf leuchtet wenn angeschaltet. Versteht auch ein Kind sofort), nicht teuer, ideal zum Rumprobieren und eine ideale Basis. Wir werden sicher einige davon behalten aber auch den einen oder anderen ersetzen.

Ich verzichte bei den Beschreibungen auf blumige Sprache und versuche praxisbezogen zu beschreiben.

Tone City Sweet Cream: Tolles Overdrive Pedal um etwas Schub zu geben, werden wir bestimmt behalten. Volume, Gain  &amp; Touch lassen sich sehr gut und genau einstellen, Touch verfärbt den Ton damit das eigene Gusto getroffen werden kann. Zum Üben ist dies ein Pedal das immer an ist. Für den Preis ein absoluter No-Brainer.

Tone City Fuxx Fuzz: Für uns zu viel des Guten. Lässt sich schwer einstellen und verzerrt auch bei geringer Gitarrenlautstärke und geringster Einstellung bereits brachial. Für Powerchords und Lead Tones okay (Seven Nation Army etc.), max. 2 Saiten gleichzeitig. Im Nachhinein betrachtet wäre für unsere Übungszwecke ein Distortion Pedal geeigneter gewesen. Der 10j liebt es, da lärmig.

Tone City Summer Orange: Schöne Phase Sounds von Subtil und langsam (schwebend) bis hin zu extrem. Rate &amp;  Depth können sauber eingestellt werden, der Feedback Regler ist etwas tricky. Wir haben ihn auf 9 Uhr und es passt so. Was mich (aber nur mich) etwas stört: Auch bei geringsten Werten (Pedal an, alle Regler auf Minimum) verfärbt das Pedal den Sound. Ich habe aber keine Erfahrung mit Phaser und weiss nicht ob das bei allen Phaser so ist. Deshalb unbedingt Antesten gehen, der Grundsound des Pedals muss gefallen. Uns gefällts, wir behalten es.

Tone City Tape Machine: Tolles Tape Echo, wirklich. Das Pedal überzeugt durch die Einfachheit. Super einstellbar von subtil bis endlos. Für den Preis ein absoluter No-Brainer. Wir behalten es auf jeden Fall und werden bestimmt noch lange Freude daran haben.

Tone City Tiny Spring: Ein Reverb mit nur einem Parameter? Ja das geht, wir lieben es! Es lässt sich gut einstellen (obwohl wir uns meistens in den untersten 10% bewegen) und klingt toll, mit einem schönen Schimmern. Wir haben zudem ein Digitech Polara, nutzen zum Üben das Tiny Spring aber lieber, da viel einfacher (klingt immer gut, verfärbt nicht, lenkt nicht ab sondern ergänzt den Sound). Auch das Kind versteht das Pedal sofort, bei anderen Hallgeräten muss man viel mehr wissen und einstellen.
Tolles Spring Reverb, always on, für den Preis ein absoluter No-Brainer. Wir behalten es auf jeden Fall und werden bestimmt noch lange Freude daran haben.

Fürs ganz Grobe

Wenn die Einstellungen am AMP und der Gitarre richtig auf den Fuxx Fuzz abgestimmt sind, dann funktioniert der FUZZ genial. 
Ansonsten kommt nur Müll raus
