Plus besoin de présenter non plus Wampler. Une autre firme Américaine de pédale dites 'boutiques' qui sont d'une qualité irréprochable. Solide, très bien construite, grande qualité électronique et fiables. Cette 'EQuator' est un top achat. Elle va faire renaître de leurs cendres des pédales, des amplis ou des micros de guitares poussifs, sombres ou trop aigus ! Elle va grandement améliorer les overdrives en jouant sur les fréquences moyennes et aider grandement à 'percer le mix' ! Pour moins de 210.- c'est vraiment une tuerie lorsqu'on a bien maîtrisé ses réglages.
Elle peut être alimentée en 9 volts ou 18volts. Lequel est le mieux ? A essayer !

Les 7 boutons de réglages font des merveilles:
BASS - MIDS 1 LEVEL - MIDS 2 LEVEL - TREBLE - VOLUME, et les 2 boutons magiques:
MIDS 1 FREQ - MIDS 2 FREQ. Ces 2 boutons permettent de choisir chacun entre 6 fréquences différentes, combinables entre elles avec des volumes identiques ou différents. C'est juste génial. Et en plus cette pédale a un son tellement propre et silencieux. Lui donner 5 étoiles est simplement normal !

Je l'utilise dans la boucle de ma tête d'ampli Orange Super Crush 100, après un Delai, un Chorus et une Reverb. Impressionnant ce que je peux obtenir comme enrichissement sonore, quelque soit le matériel connecté à l'ampli.
Impossible de regretter cet achat. Hautement recommandable !
