Ein super Instrument. Nicht einfach zu bedienen (Menüs etwas kompliziert...), aber das wichtigste ist da: super Sound !

Super Keyboard

On the basic instructions of the owners manual the synth really starts to show its power. 128 polyphony is unbelievable. The voices and drumkits are excellently sampled and using the controllers for cutoff, resonance, attack,release, chorus, reverb and two knobs to assign yourself create wierd and wonderful sounds. Creativity is endless. Cubase AI is included but is not really absolutely necessary, I use Linux, atari and amiga and it is easy to assign sequencer programs to use all the features of the synth. I have easily programmed cubase 3.1 for atari ,Bars and pipes for amigaand rose garden, ardour, Muse and Qtractor for Linux. The host usb port is recognised by the alsa midi function for Linux and function out of the box without any additional drivers or software. Also the DIN MIDI IN AND OUT PORTS make it easy to use legacy midi equipment.

Under Linux the host USB port also function's as a USB audio port out of the box, both the input and the output function with Alsa, pulse audio and jack. The program and rhythm integrated functions are flexible and easy to manipulate. There is so much more to write about this wonderful device! It's light and easy to move around or carry. Beautifully designed and looks great. 2 displays, one led red and an informative oled display makes it easy to use especially with the jog shuttle.

For the price it is the best way to get results for composing.

Yamaha mx49 II a synthisizer for all needs

Dieser Synthie von Yamaha für weniger als 600 Franken bietet über 1000 Sounds aus der Motif-Serie. Diese sind mit wenigen Ausnahmen hochwertig und machen eine gute Figur. Das Gerät ist für alle Musikstile geeignet, wobei das Schwergewicht auf modernen Sounds liegt. Die Klänge lassen sich splitten oder layern. Es gibt eine ausgeklügelte Arpeggio-Funktion, vielfältige Drumsounds und eine grosse Patternauswahl. Viele Parameter lassen sich direkt via Regler editieren, trotzdem scheint mir die Bedienung etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es braucht eine gewisse Zeit, bis man die Parameterstruktur verinnerlicht hat. 
Ein USB-Anschluss für die direkte Anbindung an einen Rechner sowie MIDI-Anschlüsse sind vorhandeln, wobei sich via USB Audio- wie auch MIDi-Daten übertragen lassen. Man spart sich also ein externes Interface.
Alles in allem macht das Gerät einen guten Eindruck, obwohl viel Plastik verwendet wurde. Die Oberfläche ist aufgeräumt und übersichtlich angeordnet. Die Regler sind wertig und rasten in der Mitte ein. Abstriche muss man bei der Tastatur machen. Angesichts des Preise geht aber auch das in Ordnung.

61-Tasten-Synthie zum unschlagbaren Preis

Bonne qualité, sons de bonne facture, robuste et compact, je l'emmène partout (vacances, gig) et il fait très bien l'affaire. Étui recommandé.

Très bon synthetiseur compact

Ich verwende das YAMAHA MX61 als zus. Keyboard für Live-Performances, wenn die 'coolen' Sounds von YAMAHA wie z.B. vom YAMAHA Montage 7 Synth. oder MODX gefragt sind, aber ohne nochmals 15 - 20 kg zu schleppen. Das Leichtgewicht kommt bei mir meist in die 2. Keyboard-Etage auf dem 'Stand'.
