Sound emulation is quite good. Reaching closely a Savage 120 or a Blackmore Hi-gain channel. Clean channel has a lack of thickness. Sounds better plugged in the Return of the FX Loop. In front off your amp the sound is far away from Engl and sounds as bad as a random distortion pedal. I tested it with my Savage 120) Main problem: The pedal keeps in memory the two channels only when it's 9v supplied. If there is a current failure or your power supply switched off, all the presets are gone. It happened live! Be sure to get a 300mA power supply. As usual the components are plastic one (potentiometer) and the footswitch doesn't look sturdy. The speaker simulator is poor. No more than a back-up pedal. You'd better invest in a reliable-affordable multi FX than this toy.
Utilisation: Bien pensé, le switch peut enclencher l'effet ou changer de canal. Les pots sont efficaces mais petits, a manier avec des pincettes. Caractéristiques: 2 canaux (clean/lead), réglages complets, cab sim pratique. Son: Clean profond et claquant allant jusqu'à un crunch sympa. Lead commence par un crunch hard-rock jusqu'au high-gain, très convaincant. Cab Sim fait très bien son job. Résumé: Bien entendu aucune comparaison n'est possible avec son grand frère mais pour avoir un bon son metal a la maison pour travailler ou pour un débutant c'est parfait.
