To be able to distribute the signal source to multiple inputs. For example, the L/R master outputs of a mixing console can be easily split into several power amplifiers. By using generously dimensioned low-frequency transformers, the sound remains unaffected, but ground loop hum is reliably eliminated. The PLS-02 can also be used to convert unbalanced to balanced and vice versa.
