The SP-5's transducer is based on a gold-plated 40-millimeter diaphragm, which allows for a wide 8 Hz to 38 kHz frequency response, excellent transient response and low distortion. The headphone has first-class resolution across the entire frequency spectrum and offers the listener a sovereign dynamic range with a sound pressure of 95 dB at 1mW power. The SP-5 was designed and manufactured in collaboration with ULTRASONE. The patented S-LOGIC ® Plus technology creates a realistic soundstage and allows hours of fatigue-free listening. The sound-insulating pads of these professional studio headphones and their low overall weight of just 290 grams ensure maximum wearing comfort. With an impedance of 70 ohms and interchangeable connection cables, the STUDIO PRO SP-5 can be used equally well in the studio or on mobile equipment.
