These are the original Augustine guitar strings, an intrinsic part of the classical guitar revolution this century.

Albert Augustine, an instrument maker, found himself pressured by none other than Andrés Segovia to manufacture and sell nylon guitar strings. He did so, insuring the rise of a new generation of concert players and lending his own part to the cultivation and completion of the famous Segovia sound.

Augustine Classic Strings are available with Blue, Red, Black or Gold basses.

Augustines Classic Strings are a light-gauge treble string.
