The OCR8 Bluetooth dongle controls the directional characteristics, high-pass filters and pad switches of an OC818 microphone wirelessly via Bluetooth via iOS or Android device in real time. After the Bluetooth receiver is attached to the back of the microphone, it allows you to select and save (no battery required - phantom power via the OC818) user-defined settings on the microphone. The free PolarPilot app from Austrian Audio is available in the Apple App Store™ and Google Play™. With a previously unrivaled number of 255 discrete directional characteristics between eight, all cardioid variants up to omnidirectional, complex microphones of various instruments can be conveniently and wirelessly remote controlled and saved.
