Dan Moi MD-2D#2 Standard Danmoi (gestimmt in D#2)

The traditional Jew's harp of the Vietnamese Hmong hill tribe. It is meticulously handcrafted from brass and impresses with its easy playability and brilliant, overtone-rich sound. In contrast to the conventional Jew's harp, it does not have to be pressed against the teeth to achieve the full sound. Since it only lies on the lips, it is easy and pleasant to play for everyone. It sounds very gentle and soft. Unlimited effect possibilities open up because the tongue has more room to play and the mouth remains loose and freely movable. For example, mouth contact can be broken to create an echo effect. The instrument makers work the tongue so precisely that the distance between the tongue and the frame can hardly be noticed with the naked eye. This creates a particularly wide sound spectrum, especially in the treble range.
