The AP303 has been designed to broadcast automatically and unattended MP3 audio files of music and messages, stored on a Compact Flash memory card. The AP303 players are fully programmable. 255 programs are available to organize music and message broadcasts. The programs can be started up by several types of command: internal clock, file name, input contact, Plc or computer serial link command. Each program can launch up to 6 actions: any of the player's transport bar action (play, stop, next track...), play a specific file (advert, jingle), change directory (different music style), adjust volume, switch to sleep mode, trigger relays (not on basic version). If 6 actions are not enough, several programs can be linked up. Providing 8 inputs, the player becomes a truly interactive device : it can be triggered by external events and is capable of sending commands to other equipment. The 8 input contacts start up associated programs. The inputs can be combined to provide up to 255 possible input facilities. The following can be connected to the input contacts: detectors (temperature, light, presence, smoke, door actuator), push buttons, stops, relays or any type of dry contact you may need to use. DMX output: The 255 DMX channels are switchable (proportional) by an action in a program. The program is started by a command. (see timer message software) Using the Show Control function, the DMX channels will switch (proportionally) during the music SHOW CONTROL function : Synchronize multiple external events with a sound track. Using the dedicated software provided, your sound and light show sequences can be created on a computer. This easy to use software allows you define the required actions and perfectly synchronize them with a sound track. You can then carry out a real time simulation of the show by connecting the AP303 to your PC. Transfer the files into the Compact Flash memory card and the AP303 player will become a stand alone device, running the show according to the programs you have created and controlling interactions with other equipment. DMX Input : If you use the DMX input facility, the AP303 then becomes a message box which can be controlled by any DMX equipment. You can launch specific files, change the musical style or take control of the player's transport bar. The 255 values of a DMX channel correspond to 255 programs of the AP303 . A second channel is used to control the player's volume between 0dB and -70dB. Some examples of use : AP303 is a very efficient stand alone show controller for sites or monuments, sound and light displays, as well as many applications in theme parks, stage design, interactive kiosks, live shows. Also in shops, commercial centers or in shop windows to highlight products during an audio presentation or advertisement.
