With two outputs, it is possible to control the modulation function, for example, the volume when modulation is disabled. Output 1 (Note: only connect with a 1/4" Stereo Cinch TRS-TRS cable to the Profiler) controls the modulation function (e.g., a wah), and output 2 (a standard 1/4" TS instrument cable) controls the switch. This allows you to easily switch between the two functions. This works for Profilers (toasters or racks, with or without amplifiers) and the Kemper Remote, but not for the Kemper Player (which only has one input for the EP-1). This means that only one function can be controlled with the Kemper Player. The mechanism is gentle, precise, and robust, and it does not require any power. And, like Kemper, it's green – what else could you ask for? However, the switch is only a simple contact switch and not a push-button switch with tactile feedback (you can feel the "click"), so it may be necessary to adjust the height slightly to achieve the desired control (I even replaced the felt button on the switch to adjust the height, which was easy).
