With the CARBON8, MODAL Electronics presents an 8-voice digital synthesizer that redefines creative sound adventures. Equipped with a state-of-the-art sound engine and two oscillators, each with 56 digital core waveforms, the CARBON8 opens up a wide range of unique algorithms and wavetables for tonal variety. The 37 velocity-sensitive keys with Aftertouch (fatar) enable an expressive performance. The CARBON8 supports MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) with a suitable controller to bring even more nuances to your playing style. A razor-sharp OLED display shows the current settings of the controls and their sonic effects at all times. A total of 34 different filter types are available, including modern and vintage filters that precisely shape the sound and give it the necessary "analog warmth". The CARBON8 also scores with 3 LFOs that provide over 15 different waveforms and expand the sound design. The powerful functions of the CARBON8 include an integrated 512-note polyphonic sequencer and a flexible arpeggiator, which allow you to creatively animate sounds and refine them with up to 26 high-quality effects at the same time. All of the synthesizer's functions can be conveniently edited and managed on the screen using the free MODALapp.
